4. October

As part of the EU Centre of Excellence 🇪🇺🇦🇱, I and other two co-authors have just published an important paper in Osservatorio del Diritto Civile e Commerciale (Mulino Editor), which is a double peer review journal indexed also in Scopus. This is the FIRST legal paper scientifically proving that the Italian civil code has impacted on the Albanian property law codified in 1994. https://www.rivisteweb.it/doi/10.4478/98142

This presentation will focus on the urban farming movement in Eastern Europe/Lithuania as an entry point for discussing the politics and practice of sustainability in the EU, particularly in relation to food self-provisioning, climate change, and civic engagement. It will also consider regional differences and inequalities across the EU as well as the role of gender and generational divides in the EU’s sustainability politics.

Sponsored by the UF Jean Monnet Center of Excellence and the Center for European Studies at the University of Florida.
