Fake for Real - extended until February 2022

Visitors now have three more months to explore this fascinating temporary exhibition at the House of European History. Fake For Real explores the history of forgery and fake news from antiquity to the present. Learn how falsified data, media and products have been used to advance careers, increase political power and target consumers throughout history. Entrance is free but visits must be booked online in advance. For those who can’t visit in person, the curators of the exhibition have put together a virtual visit on Youtube. And for those who want to dive deeper into the contemporary world of fake news and disinformation, check out the recordings of the Flamboyant Fake lecture series and Between Truth and Trust panel debates.
